Energy Saving: Replacing your fossil fuel boiler with a GSHP will negate the cost of gas, oil or LPG. It uses natural underground heat and electricity to operate. It will reduce your bills due to the Seasonal Performance Co-Efficient Ratings. As a rule, for every 1kW of energy consumed, a GSHP will typically produce 5.0kW of heat, in comparison to a gas or oil boiler where 1kW of energy transfers to typically 0.85 kW of usable heat, with the remaining 0.15kW wasted via the flue/exhaust.

HOW IT WORKS

A Ground Source Heating System comprises of two main components.

1 - The Heat Pump

Located above ground, the heat pump can be positioned internally or externally. This uses a heat transfer fluid to collect heat from the ground and converts it to usable heat for your property.

2- The Ground Collector System

This is a heat transfer fluid filled pipe that collects the natural heat from the ground. These are typically excavated 1 metre underground and can be laid via a ground loop system for properties with a large plot or, alternatively, a slinky system, which overlaps the heating coils to maximise ground heat from concentrated areas. Boreholes can also be used to minimise space even further. Open water collector systems are rare and require moving water.

OUR CUSTOMER’S THOUGHTS

"Andy, Ryan and the Green Brick team gave us good advice when selecting our new boiler. The installation was pain free as the men worked quickly, efficiently and tidied up after themselves. Also, the post installation queries we had were responded to immediately and to our satisfaction"

C. Harris – Gislingham, Suffolk

"As soon as the cold weather hit our boiler decided to stop working, Ryan at Green Brick Projects visited and assessed the job. They provided a detailed quotation and completion date. Ryan and Kyle turned up on the day and time agreed and completed the job promptly with no mess. We would definitely use Green Brick Projects again and would highly recommend them. Thanks again"

N. Seaman – Palgrave, Norfolk

"Many thanks to all at Green Brick for the excellent job on the recent conversion works to our house. The changes have transformed our home and made a huge difference. We have been very impressed by the workmanship and it was a pleasure having the guys around on site! It was nice to know one contractor was handling everything, construction, electrics and plumbing as it gave us great peace of mind to know it was all just being done. Thanks Again"
